The Quattro is still my favourite of all of Ramesh's designs and it's so uniquely Moynat. I have had a couple of people who have stopped me on the street to ask about it. The four handles is definitely a conversation point. Though it comes in leather, I still prefer the Initial canvas of Henri Rapin especially with the array of trim colours that Moynat now offers.

One thing that I don't see a lot of men carry in the US is a good briefcase.  I use mass transit to go to and from work and the Metro is littered with messengers and the oh-so dreadful backpack! Thus I could appreciate the beauty of the Holdall as it sits on a chair in the Tuileries.

Nothing compares to a purse crafted out of exotic skin. Chosen for their outstanding scale pattern, Crocodile mississippiensis is hewn perfectly by the craftsman on this rouge Paradis. I have only seen chocolat as another colour for it but I look forward to future releases.

MOYNAT Virage iPhone Case

I must admit that I haven't really been following MOYNAT ever since I acquired my Cabas Quattro. It's not for lack of interest but probably because I wanted to rest my monogrammed pieces for a bit.  Last week, much to my surprise, I got a small note from a special reader inquiring why I haven't been blogging.  That very night, I took out my Quattro from its luxurious dust bag and I fell in love all over again.  I was ravenous in reviewing Moynat's Facebook page and found this...

...the Virage iPhone case!  Ever since I got my iPhone 4, I have been using a cigarette case to house it (non-smoker here). I was never really big on bumpers and would prefer to go bare but seeing the Virage with its sliver of coloured leather is making my heart skip a beat.  Crafted also in pure calf skin, it's the perfect handmade accessory and it's ergonimic too.  Hmmmm...I wonder if they are going to come out with a design for the iPhone 5.

I hope it's not too late to wish everyone a wonderful season.  The Cabas Initial is definitely the perfect tote for summer activities.  I do love how the separately sold luggage tag completed the look. By the way, the tag is completely handmade.
